We’re here for you, providing integrated mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment for teens and their families during COVID-19.

Center for Families is a different kind of community and therapeutic treatment center for teens in that we take a whole-person treatment approach that includes the family system. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, integrated treatment programs for teens, ages 13–18, in an environment of compassion and acceptance, that help them to grow in their self-esteem and self-efficacy. We support clients and their families by helping them to heal from the effects of trauma and attachment wounds, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other behavioral and mental health issues.

PHP Therapeutic Day Treatment Program

The Center for Families Teen Treatment Program is a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) that blends the therapeutic support of outpatient treatment with academic progress. It includes diagnostic, assessment, education, and clinical and experiential treatment services for youth who are struggling with behavioral, mental health, and/or substance abuse issues.

Intensive Outpatient Program – IOP

For teens who remain in a traditional school setting but need ongoing care for mental health concerns within a supportive community, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with afternoon hours is an ideal solution. Center for Families’ IOP provides therapeutic programming five days a week for teens who attend school during the day, and offers support groups and check-ins for the entire family.

Outpatient Treatment Programs

One of the most challenging questions that parents ask themselves is, “Are there teen treatment programs near me that can offer my child the right level of care?” Based in our integrated approach, our Outpatient Treatment Services offer a less structured program than our IOP and PHP options, while still providing the tailored treatment that is essential for healing.

Therapeutic Day School

CFF’s Therapeutic Day School is for teens who are struggling in a traditional academic setting due to behavioral or mental health concerns. Here, teens cultivate a sense of self-worth based on self-compassion and resilience, fulfilling their academic potential while laying the foundation for a thriving future. Our Day School is woven into our Day Treatment Program.

Expert Medication Management

Unlike other teen therapeutic day and outpatient programs, Center for Families has licensed psychiatrists on staff—MDs who facilitate CFF’s medical assessments to help families and teens manage medication or evaluate if there might be a need for medication. Dr. Fallon takes an in-depth approach to medication assessments, to prevent overmedication and to ensure that therapeutic modalities are at the heart of our treatment plans, which are personalized to target each teen’s personal history and potential challenges.

An Integrated Approach

Whether your teen is attending our Day Program, Therapeutic Day School, Intensive Outpatient Program, or Outpatient Program, in person or virtually, our dedicated team of licensed and caring professionals is here for your family. We have developed our treatment programs using a fully integrated approach that can make a therapeutic experience rewarding and even fun. Teens at CFF receive the support they need to maintain their emotional well-being while pursuing academic and life goals, so they don’t feel left behind.
