Local Counseling in Minneapolis

Our outpatient location in Minneapolis offers two programs for teens:

Both our PHP and IOP programs blend clinical and experiential modalities with life skills training and family support. Our teen PHP also includes an academic component, using an accredited curriculum and specialized tutoring.

Integrated Care

Each client receives a tailored treatment plan, designed by a multidisciplinary team that includes board-certified psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and nurses.

Our clinicians are highly trained in a variety of evidence-based individual and group modalities, including Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Relapse Prevention.

At our Minneapolis treatment program, clients may find themselves exploring the local community, paddle boating on Bde Maka Ska lake, doing yoga, or making art, all facilitated through a therapeutic lens. Our experiential groups help teens build strong peer connections and learn healthy coping mechanisms to replace maladaptive behaviors.

Our program provides:

  • Clinical and experiential therapy to address primary mental health disorders and co-occurring issues
  • An integrated approach that addresses each aspect of teens’ mental and physical well-being
  • Multidisciplinary care teams of medical, clinical, and academic experts who collaborate to optimize treatment plans
  • In-depth psychiatric assessments and care, including medication management
  • Gender-affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients

Our Partial Hospitalization Program

Our Minneapolis PHP provides full-day programming, five days a week. This level of care provides more structure and support than weekly therapy can offer, along with a strengths-based academic component, designed to address proficiency gaps and nurture interests and talents.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program

IOP is often the next step for individuals who have completed a PHP, residential treatment, or inpatient psychiatric care. It’s also the right level of care for teens who can stay at their home school. Our IOP program is ideal for clients who will benefit from consistent, ongoing care on an regular basis.
